Jack is my godson. As a little boy his father and I tortured him mercilessly, how this little bugger turned out normal, I’ll never know. One thing we did do was introduce him to motorcycles when he was but a tiny wee boy…as opposed to a “Baby Man”, which he is now! He raced around the motocross track at the bottom of the garden running rings around his father and I, did the crusty demon thing and won the “Dun’root’n Perpetual” one too many times.
Fast forward 20 years and Jack’s on a WR250R and has just completed his first adventure ride from Sydney to Rocky Creek Designs headquarters in metro Dunoon. Accompanying us was Matt, on an XT250, both on their P’s and so restricted to 90Kph, which I believe is a good thing.
I’ve put together a video of our trip (best watched in 1080) which I have to say was great fun. The riding was excellent, not too many instances of following the “Fuk-r-we” bird and I laughed from beginning to end. I look forward to many more trips with the “Baby Man”….enjoy!
